Check-In requirements

Travel Documents

Turkish Airlines can not be held liable for any missed flights or refunds due to passengers arriving at the airport of departure without the correct travel documents, or invalid IDs, boarding passes, passports or visas.

When travelling domestically, passengers will need a valid form of identification, as well as a valid boarding pass before being allowed onto the aircraft.

When travelling internationally, it is essential that passengers arrive with a valid passport, a valid and approved boarding pass, as well as any necessary visa/visas for the country they are travelling to.

Check-In

When checking in, you are able to check-in at the airport on the day of departure. To ensure you check-in on time, it is suggested to arrive at least two hours before your domestic or international flight to check-in.

If you are travelling domestically in Business Class, you are allowed 30 kgs of checked luggage. If you are travelling domestically in Economy Class, you are allowed 20 kgs of checked baggage.

For international flights, Business Class passengers are allowed 30 kgs of checked baggage. If you are travelling internationally in Economy Class, you are allowed 20 kgs of check baggage.

Cabin or Hand Baggage

If you are traveling Business Class, you are allowed to take on 2 pieces of luggage, with a maximum combined weight of 8 kgs. Economy Class passengers are allowed to bring on one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 8 kgs.

Excess Baggage

For every kilogram you are overweight, a fine of ₦225 is charged.
