Checking In

You are required to check in with photo identification 90 minutes before domestic flights and 120 minutes before international flights. If you fail to present yourself before then, you may miss your flight.

You are wholly responsible for checking in on time. You will not receive any compensation in such circumstances.

Boarding

A boarding time will be specified when you check in. It is your responsibility to present yourself at the boarding gate before this time. If you fail to do so, your seat may be reassigned and the flight may take off without you.

Furthermore, photo identification is required to board your flight. You will not have rights to compensation if you are unable to board your flight because you do not have photo identification or missed your boarding time.

Losing your boarding pass is not a major problem. A replacement can be printed at the airport’ British Airways check-in counter.

Domestic Flights

Overland Airways flies to many corners of Nigeria, connecting the country. The routes include Ibadan, Asaba, Jalingo, Minna, Abuja, Dutse, Akure Ilorin, Bauchi, and Lagos.

International Flights

The airline does not operate international passenger flights, but runs a charter service in Central and West Africa.

Overland Airways Baggage Policy

Checked Baggage

Passengers are allowed a maximum of 23 kg free checked baggage. Baggage over 23 kg will incur an excess baggage charge, which increases along with the weight of your bag.

If weight or space becomes an issue, baggage under 23 kg will be given preference.

Cabin or Hand Baggage

Maximum hand baggage weight and dimensions will be provided upon booking. However, if you do not receive specifications, hand baggage must fit in the overhead compartments or under the seat in front of you.
