About IMO Airline

The airline launched in January 2017 and took to the skies in April 2017. It is in partnership with Dana Air that the Nigerian state, Imo, managed to launch their very own airline. They are new but building fast, and feel ready to take on their competitor airlines such as Arik Air.

With Imo airlines being backed by Dana Air, a leading airline in Nigeria known for its service and safety, they will soon head to the top of the industry alongside their partners.

Documents needed to travel are, as usual, your ticket and boarding pass, your identity documents with photographic evidence of your identity, and your passport. There are no international flights so you are unlikely to need a Visa.

Check-in

Check-in opens two hours before departure of the plane and closes 25 minutes before take-off. Passengers need to be present and checked-in before the gates close, otherwise, they will not be able to board the plane.
