Fly Emirates Online Booking & Flight Specials
Fly Emirates operates two international flight routes from Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, into Nigeria. The route from Dubai to Lagos runs twice a day, while the route to Abuja runs twice a week. All-in-all, that means 16 weekly Emirates flights coming into Nigeria.
The Lagos and Abuja flights use Emirate’s prized Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This luxurious airbus is made up of three classes: Economy Class transport over 300 passengers spaciously and comfortably; Business Class allows over 40 passengers to recline into 180° sleeping positions, and First Class provides 8 private suites for the luckiest of fliers.
Furthermore, Emirates is running a special allowing Economy and Business Class passengers on a return trip to Nigeria an additional piece of checked baggage weighing no more than 12kg. This is on top of your regular free baggage allowance of 1 piece of checked baggage and 1 piece of carry-on luggage.

The airline is not responsible for any refunds to passengers in the event of them arriving at the airport with the incorrect identification, passport, VISA or boarding pass.
For domestic travel, a valid form of identification and a boarding pass is required to board the aircraft. For international travel, a valid passport, boarding pass, and any relevant VISA are required before boarding.
Like with most airlines nowadays, there are three methods of checking in. You are able to check-in online, on your smartphone or at the airport. Check-in deadlines vary depending on which method you choose.
If you are travelling internationally, check-in closes 60 minutes before the designated time of departure. For domestic flights, the check-in closes 30 minutes before the designated time of departure.
Economy Class adult and child fliers are permitted 2 pieces of checked baggage no more than 23 kilograms each. Infants in the same class are only permitted 1 item with the same weight restriction.
On the other hand, First class adult and child fliers are permitted 2 pieces of checked baggage no more than 23 kilograms each (10kg more than Economy class). Infants in the same class are only permitted 1 item with the same weight restriction.
Any baggage that exceeds these allowances will be subject to Excess Baggage Rates. Furthermore, the airline does not guarantee that it will be able to accommodate. If space is an issue, some baggage that exceeds the free baggage allowance may not make it onto the flight. This is a rare occurrence.
The amount of hand baggage you are permitted to carry into the cabin depends on your service class.
Passengers flying Business Class or First Class may carry 2 pieces of hand baggage into the cabin – a briefcase and a hand/garment bag. The briefcase must be no larger than 45cm x 20cm, while the hand/garment bag must not exceed 55cm x 38cm x 20cm. Furthermore, neither item may exceed 7kg in weight.
On the other hand, passengers flying Economy Class may carry 1 piece of hand baggage into the cabin. It must be no larger than 55cm x 38cm x 20cm, may not exceed 7kg in weight.
Passengers traveling with an infant (child without a seat) can bring a single stroller or carry-cot on board as hand luggage if there is space. If there is no space this extra item will be placed in the cabin, but will not count towards your cabin baggage allowance.
