Baggage allowance
The three airlines have different weight and size allowances for passengers’ carry-on and checked baggage.
Aero flights allow you to take 20kg of checked baggage in Economy and 30kg in Business class. If your luggage exceeds this allowance, you will be charged an excess baggage fee that increases with each extra kilogram. You are allowed one piece of carry-on luggage which should not be heavier than 6kg or larger than 33 x 20 x 45cm.
Arik Air allows 20kg of checked baggage for Economy class and 30kg for Business. Dimensions for checked luggage must not exceed 90 x 70 x 43cm. You can take carry-on baggage of up to 6kg. Dimensions for carry-on luggage must not exceed 55 x 35 x 25 cm.
Air Peace allows passengers to take 20kg of checked baggage in Economy and 40kg in Business class. Excess baggage is charged at ₦500 per extra kilogram. You are allowed carry-on luggage of up to 6kg in Economy and 10kg in Business. Dimensions for carry-on baggage must not exceed 45 x 33 x 20cm. In addition to your carry-on luggage, you can also take one purse, handbag, or laptop.
