Firstnation Airways is a privately owned Nigeria passenger and cargo airline. Established in 2011, it is based in Nigeria’s capital city, Lagos. From this base, it flies domestic routes, connecting Lagos with Port Harcourt and Abuja. Furthermore, it plans to expand into international routes in the near future.
The Airline’s fleet is solely made up of Airbus A319 aircraft. These luxury aircraft have are more comfortable with the widest cabin in its class, has a greater cargo carrying capacity, and is environmentally friendly.
Firstnation Airways have divided their Airbus A319 passenger carries into a business class and economy class.
The flight booking and quoting tool on Firstnation Airways website is currently not functioning. Prices are therefore not currently available.
Passengers are provided with a free baggage allowance. Any checked or hand baggage that exceeds this allowance will be charged an excess baggage fee.
On domestic flights, business class passengers are permitted one piece of checked baggage weighing under 40kg, while economy class passengers are restricted to one piece of checked baggage under 20kg.
On International flights, which Firstnation Airways plan to offer soon, business class passengers will be permitted two pieces of checked baggage weighing under 40kg each. Economy class passengers will be restricted to two pieces of checked baggage under 30kg each
Besides checked baggage, passengers flying with Firstnation Airways are also able to take a piece of hand luggage into the cabin with them. This piece of luggage must be under 10kg, otherwise, it will be placed with checked baggage and count towards your free checked baggage allowance
The excess baggage fee is charged if your luggage exceeds the airline’s free baggage allowance. This fee increases along with the weight of your bag.
