Royal Air Maroc is the national carrier for Morocco, it is also the largest airline in the country. Royal Air Maroc, also known as RAM, is completely owned by the Moroccan government and is headquartered in the grounds of Casablanca-Anfa Airport.
The main hub for the airline is Mohammed V International Airport, and it has a vast domestic network that runs across the whole of Morocco. They also serve many destinations across the globe, in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, as well as chartered flights for special occasions such as Hajj.
Royal Air Maroc also offers a great frequent flyer programme. Called Safar Fly, members can earn and redeem miles either by flying with RAM, its direct subsidiaries, or partner airlines Iberia, Qatar Airways and Etihad. There are also hotel and rental car benefits.
Royal Air Maroc cannot and will not be held responsible for any passengers missing any flights or connecting flights due to incorrect or invalid forms of identification, passports, boarding passes or visas.
When travelling domestically, passengers will need to present a valid form of identification, as well as a valid boarding pass before being allowed through the boarding gates and onto the aircraft.
When travelling internationally, passengers will need to present a valid passport, as well as a valid and approved boarding pass, and any visa/visas that are required to enter the country they are travelling to before they are allowed to board their flight.
When checking in, you are able to check-in at the airport at the check-in counter or at the Royal Air Maroc kiosk that is located in the airport. It is advised that you arrive and check-in at least 2 hours before your flight is due to depart.
You can also check-in online. Online check-in can be done up to 48 hours before your time of departure and is suggested if you want to miss any check-in lines and end up missing your flight.
The Casablanca Lounge, is available to all Business Class passengers and Safar members holding Gold, Ambassador or Silver Loyalty cards. It is the perfect place to rest and relax before a flight or during transit.
You can easily sit back and enjoy your relaxation time, watching aircraft take off and land, or you can do some quick business before an important meeting. The Casablanca Lounge is designed to make you feel fresh and rejuvenated.
