Air France is the flagship carrier for France and is located in Tremblay-en-France. It is one of the founding members of the Skyteam Global Alliances. As of 2013, the airlines serves 36 domestic destinations and 168 destinations in 78 countries.
Air France was formed on October 7, 1933, from a merger between Air Orient, Air Union, Compagnie Generale Aeropostale, Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne and Societe Generale de Transport Aérienne.
On the 30th of September 2003, it was announced that Air France would merge with KLM< the Netherlands based airline. The merger went through in 2004, and the new airline was called Air France-KLM.

Check-In requirements
Travel Documents
Air France is not held liable for any missed flights or refunds that passengers may experience if said passenger arrives at the airport with an incorrect or invalid boarding pass, identification, passport or visa.
When traveling domestically, a passenger will need to have a valid a relevant form of identification and boarding pass before being allowed to board the aircraft.
When traveling internationally, a passenger is required to arrive with a valid passport, a valid boarding pass, as well as any relevant visas required for the country they are traveling to.
Check-in
When checking in, you are able to check-in at one of the Air France kiosks located around the airport or at the check-in counter. It is suggested that you arrive at least 2 hours before your departure time to check-in.
You are also able to check-in online. You can check-in online up to 24 hours before your time of departure. You can avoid any time wasting or lines if you check-in online.
You are also able to check-in using the Air France app. It is available for all smartphones and allows you to quickly and easily check-in to your flight.
Business Class Lounges
The Business Class Lounge offers visitors a shower, prepared meals, entertainment, and everything else you may need to do work, relax or recover before your flight or between connecting flights.

Air France Baggage Policy
Checked Baggage
If you are traveling Economy, you are allowed one checked bag weighing no more than 23 kgs. If you are traveling Premium Economy you are allowed one bag with a maximum weight of 32 kgs.
Cabin or Hand Baggage
You are allowed to bring one cabin bag and one accessory bag onto the flight. Depending on your cabin type, the weight of your bags combined must not exceed either 12 or 18 kgs.
Excess Baggage Fees
You are liable for a fine if your checked baggage exceeds the 32 kgs limit, your bag may also not be allowed onto the flight if it is deemed that you are carrying too much luggage.
